I was planning on visiting him next week. He and I spent a lot of time together in the woods and on the water. We were never beaten as a team on the horse shoe pits. He and his ex Fredda hosted a wedding party for my wife and I after we were married at starting line of the Charleston distance run. Almost every weekend was a cookout at his house or mine. Fish fries were one of our favorites. He will be greatly missed.
