Loosing another classmate is always a tragedy, the heart break never seems to end. Robert "Bob" Benson was not a popular socializing individual, much like myself. I guess that may be one of the reasons that we became close friends. I knew all of Bob's family, good people as I remember, gentle and kind in my view. After graduation, like most of us, our lives went in different directions. Bob and I never had any contact after high school, but I must say his death has an impact on me at this time. With many good memories of a true friendship, Bob Benson was a good friend and person to those that knew him well. Thank you Bob for sharing your kindness and friendship so long ago.
